I Can See My House From Here!
I never cease to be amazed by the pictures sent back to Earth from the International Space Station (ISS). The sights the crew get to see are simply unparalleled. For one, while we get to see the majesty of a sunrise only once every 24 hours, they get to witness one every 90 minutes! When combined with just awe-inspiring and jaw-dropping views of the auroras (Borealis in the North and Australis in the South), there is just no topping it.
Watch this collection of incredible images (in full screen if you can), and then take a second to think about what it might be like to be 250 miles overhead traveling at over 17,000 mph.
